Pradeep Singh’s father, who lives in the Indus Satellite in the Lasudia area of ​​Indore, used to work at the petrol pump. He had lost his job several months ago, but he did not lose courage. He fought hard and did not let the son, who was preparing for his stay in Delhi, lack anything.

Son Pradeep Singh also studied for 16 to 18 hours a day, could never attend friends’ procession and could never attend anyone’s birthday party. He did not even visit the famous 56 shops and bullion called Chat-Chowpatty in Indore. He is fond of playing badminton, so whenever he got time, he used to play badminton.

While studying for B.Com Honors from IIPS of Devi Ahilya University, Indore, Pradeep used to prepare for UPSC for eight hours every night. Pradeep, who missed being an IAS due to being ranked 93rd last time, says that those days were more enjoyable than today. Because at the age of 22, he got Indian Revenue Service (IRS) for the first time. IRS is a very good service but it was my dream to become an IAS. That is why I prepared for it again and today it was also selected. Pradeep Singh remembers those days, saying that he always saw his father working hard on the job. After all, today my dream of becoming an IAS was fulfilled.
Coaching fees were paid by selling the house

Pradeep Singh says that for the first time when he succeeded in the IAS examination, the family’s financial condition was very bad. After completing school-college studies in Indore, Pradeep started preparing for civil services. He wanted to go to Delhi for preparation, but the financial condition of the family had become an obstacle in this path. In such a situation, the father had to sell the house to coach the son. To sell the son’s future, he sold his house. Pradeep says that his mother’s health started deteriorating during the examination, but the father did not let him know about it.

The financial condition of the family of Pradeep Singh, who became a state topper in the UPSC result, was not good as his father Manoj Singh worked at the petrol pump. Mother is a homemaker. While Pradeep’s brother works in a private company. Pradeep says that his grandfather had expressed his final wish that his grandson should go to civil services and serve the country. His mother also wants her son to serve the country and raise the family’s name. Pradeep has fulfilled this desire of his grandfather and mother with his hard work and dedication.
