New Delhi: Voting is being held for by-elections in many states in the country today. Voting is being held for three Lok Sabha and 29 assembly seats today. There will be a direct contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress in most of the seats. While some seats are dominated by regional parties. Voting is going on in the Lok Sabha seats today in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, and Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh.

It is to be known that in the by-elections being held in 29 assembly seats of the country, five are in Assam, four in West Bengal, three each in Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya, two each in Rajasthan, Bihar, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana. , Mizoram and Telangana have one seat each. Voting has started at 7 am in view of the by-election which will continue till 6 pm.

It may be noted that voting is being held today in view of the by-elections to three Lok Sabha and 29 assembly seats. The results will come after the counting of votes after November 2. There is a fight between BJP and Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Similar is the situation in Rajasthan also. In Bihar, there is a contest between Congress-RJD and JDU.
