Mumbai: Fans are diving into the magical world of Pandora of James Cameron. Amidst the news of online leaks, the audience is showering love on the film. On the very first day, the business of the film is telling all over the world that people were eagerly waiting for the film. According to reports, ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ crossed the $124 million mark worldwide. At the same time, if film experts are to be believed, this film can cross the $400 million mark in the opening weekend.

The first part of the film, which came in 2009, attracted a lot of audiences. This was the reason that ever since there was talk of making the second part of the film, people were waiting for its release. Finally, the film was released last Friday 16 December, and made new records of earnings. According to the report of BollyReviews, ‘Avatar 2’ has become the second-highest Hollywood opener movie after the first day’s earnings. The first-day collection of the film has been 40 to 45 crores.

‘Avatar 2’ lags behind ‘KGF 2’
Even though the second part of the film ‘Avatar’ has a craze among the people, but it could not break the record of South’s film ‘KGF’ Chapter 2 on the first day. According to E Times, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ did a business of around 40 crores on the first day. The same ‘KGF 2’ did a business of 53 crores on an opening day. That is, the craze of South film can be said to be more than Hollywood among the audience.

Special fan following of the film in India
The fan following of this Hollywood film is huge in India as well. There was a lot of craze among the Indian audience to watch the film here. Talking about the collection of the film in different parts of India, the first-day collection of the film was good at all places. 8 to 10 crores in Andhra Pradesh, 4 to 6 crores in Karnataka, 3 to 5 crores in Tamil Nadu, 2 to 2.5 crores in Kerala, and 15 to 16 crores in the Hindi belt. That is, in total, the film did a business of 32 to 34 crores only in India.

Tickets are expensive so…
Please tell me that the first part of the film, which came in 2009, earned 100 crores. In such a situation, expectations have also increased regarding the second part of the film. Although the first day’s earnings were estimated at Rs 45 to 50 crores, the beginning of the film was less than expected. The film could not break the record of ‘Avengers Endgame’ but the film earned more than the opening collections of ‘Spiderman: Far for Home’, ‘Avengers Infinity War’ and ‘Brahmastra’. The high cost of film tickets is also believed to be an important reason for affecting its business. The movie ticket has been up to 2500.
