New Delhi: AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria said that vaccination is the best way to stop the next wave of Coronavirus. Guleria said that if the next wave is to be stopped, then everyone has to be careful. At least until most of the population is vaccinated. AIIMS Director Dr. Randeep Guleria said that it is in our hands to stop the next wave of Corona. He said that if all precautions are taken, then the next wave of corona may not come and even if it does, its effect will be less.

Dr. Guleria said that whenever there is an epidemic there is a wave. The same was seen in Spanish flu and swine flu. He said that there are many waves and then there are seasonal infections. Seasonal infection ends after the wave is over because by then immunity comes in more population either through a vaccine or after infection.

Because of this, the waves of infection come
Guleria told about the wave of infection that the wave comes due to the mutation of the virus and the behavior of humans. He said that whenever the cases increase, people take precautions, and then when the cases start decreasing, they again go into the crowd. With this, the virus starts spreading again and a new wave is formed. Dr. Guleria said that everyone has to be careful if the new wave is to be stopped. At least until most of the population gets the vaccine.

Guleria told about the effect of infection on children that no such data has been found at the global or national level, on the basis of which it can be said that the infection will prove to be more fatal for children. Guleria said that even in the second wave, the children who got infected showed mild symptoms of the disease and other diseases. Guleria said that I do not think that in the future cases of serious infection will be seen in children.
Let us tell you that for some time it was being said that the effect of the third wave of Corona will be seen on children the most.
