Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Chehre’ to hit theaters on August 27

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Chehre’ will hit the theaters on August 27. The filmmakers made the announcement on Thursday. The film is directed by Rumi Jaffrey and produced under the banner of ‘Anand Pandit Motion Pictures’ and ‘Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd’. Pandit said in a statement, “The film ‘Chehre’ was scheduled to release in July 2020, but due to the coronavirus, its release was postponed. After this, it was to be released on 30 April, but due to the second wave of Covid-19, the release was postponed once again.

The team has worked hard and we always wanted the film to release in cinema halls….” Theaters have opened in most parts of the country including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. The reopening of cinemas in Maharashtra and some other states is yet to be approved.

The film also starred Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chakraborty, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhant Kapoor, and Rhea Chakraborty.
