New Delhi: The market of this Diwali is quite shocking for those who trade nuts. The Mewa market was warm in October due to winter arrivals and Diwali gifts. Wholesale traders sitting in Jama Masjid and Khari Baoli used to get orders to the quintal. In this season there was no time to complete the orders. But after many years, the price of dry fruits has fallen on this occasion too. Despite this, there are no customers. If the sweets traders are to be believed then it is not as if the gift-givers on Diwali have returned to the sweets.

Cashew, almond pistachio prices reduced by Rs 300 a kg
A trader from Delhi says, “We have been in this business for 90 years. But we have not seen such a market to date. Looking at the winter of October and Diwali, this time used to be completely dry. Secondly, there were also marriage orders. But it is a matter of regret that in the season the prices of nuts are falling. There is not much difference in nuts even in summer. ” According to him:

(1) American Almond has arrived at 900 to 660.
(2) Cashew has come from 1100 to 950 rupees per kg.
(3) Raisins are being sold at Rs 350 from Rs 400 per kg.
