Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Indian Railways has taken a big decision. Railways will take action against such people on complaints made by the passengers. Not only this but the accountability of the train staff can also be fixed. In this regard, the Ministry of Railways has issued orders to all the zones, so that the order can be implemented with immediate effect.

According to the Ministry of Railways, passengers often used to complain that co-passengers talk loudly on the mobile, or listen to music. There were also complaints that some group sitting in the coach was discussing loudly in the night. It was also a complaint that the escort or maintenance staff of the railways comes out talking loudly during the patrol, which disturbs the sleep of the passengers. Apart from this, there was also a dispute about lighting the lights at night, the railways used to get complaints about it.

Railway staff will be accountable if there is no solution
Keeping in mind the problems faced by the passengers, the Indian Railways has issued an order taking a big decision. Now any passenger can file a complaint related to this, on which the train staff will take immediate action. If the complaint is not resolved, now the accountability of the railway staff can also be fixed. These orders have been implemented with immediate effect.

These are the guidelines for after 10 pm

  • No passenger will talk on the mobile or listen to loud music in such a loud voice that the co-passenger is disturbed.
  • At night, all the lights have to be turned off except the night light, so that the co-traveller’s sleep is not disturbed by it.
  • Passengers running in the group will not be able to talk in the train till late night. Action can be taken on complaint by co-traveller.
  • At night, the checking staff, RPF, electrician, catering staff and maintenance staff will do their work in a peaceful manner, so that passengers do not suffer.
  • Along with this, the railway staff will provide immediate help to the elderly, differently-abled and single women above 60 years of age.
