The growing community is likely to accelerate in the years to come. ‘

India ranks among the top 10 gaming countries in the world
India is now in the top 10 gaming countries in the world in 24 surveyed markets. Nicole Pike, YouGov’s head of global sector for sports and gaming, said this year also highlighted how quickly things can change in the gaming ecosystem. This makes it difficult for advertisers and sponsors to know what, when, and how to wisely spend on gaming.

Many people also play games on YouTube
The percentage of gamers in India is equal to that of the US (71 percent) and Australia (72 percent). However, it is still lower than the proportion of Southeast Asian countries. The major markets for console gamers are Hong Kong (32 percent), Spain (29 percent), the US (28 percent), the UK (28 percent), and Australia (27 percent). Apart from playing games, watching them on YouTube has also become a different trend. Games are very popular on YouTube. They are not as popular on any other competitive platform.

Games are also played on Facebook and Twitter
India ranks third in terms of awareness in YouTube games and fifth in terms of engagement. Compare to YouTube, then gaming is also done on Facebook and Twitter. But there the number is 12-12 percent. According to the report, Indians are more likely to participate in these competitions. Once they know about these, the future of sports in the country can be bright.
