New Delhi: The number of corona virus patients in the country has reached 80 lakh 88 thousand 851. In 24 hours, 48 thousand 648 new cases of corona were found and 563 people lost their lives. Till now 1 lakh 21 thousand 90 patients have died due to infection. It is a matter of relief that so far 73 lakh 73 thousand 375 people have recovered. Meanwhile, after 85 days i.e. 3 months, the active cases have come down again to less than 6 lakh. Now 5 lakh 94 thousand 386 patients are undergoing treatment in the country.
While overall active cases are declining, corona cases are once again intensifying in 3 states. It mainly includes Delhi, Kerala and West Bengal. Corona cases have been steadily declining in these states since the last week of September, which are on the rise again.
Status of major states affected by Corona: –
- 5902 people were found infected with corona in Maharashtra on Thursday. The number of patients has increased to 16 lakh 66 thousand 668. Of these, 1 lakh 27 thousand 603 patients are undergoing treatment, while 14 lakh 94 thousand 809 people have recovered. So far 43 thousand 710 people have lost their lives due to the infection.
- A record 5739 new cases came to light in Delhi on Thursday. The number of infected people in the state has now increased to 3 lakh 75 thousand 753. Of these, 3 lakh 38 thousand 378 people have recovered, while 30 thousand 952 patients are undergoing treatment now. So far 6423 people have lost their lives due to the infection.
- 783 people were found infected in Bihar on Thursday. 1068 people recovered and 7 patients died. So far 2 lakh 14 thousand 946 people have been affected by the infection. Of these, 8484 patients are undergoing treatment, while 2 lakh 5 thousand 385 people have recovered. So far 1076 infected have died.
- 1861 new infections were confirmed in Uttar Pradesh within 24 hours. 2465 people recovered and 25 infected died. So far 4 lakh 77 thousand 895 people have been affected by the infection. Of these, 24 thousand 858 patients are undergoing treatment, while 4 lakh 46 thousand 54 people have recovered. The death toll from the infection has now risen to 6983.
More than 453 million people have been infected worldwide so far
The total number of cases of coronavirus epidemic worldwide has increased to more than 4.53 crore, while the number of deaths due to infection has now crossed 11 lakh 85 thousand. The United States is the world’s worst-affected country with 92,12,767 cases of coronavirus and 2,34,177 deaths.
According to the website Verdometer, in the last 24 hours, about two lakh 88 thousand 922 new cases of corona have come to light in the world. Whereas, 7 thousand 194 people have died. So far, four crores 53 lakh 12 thousand 762 cases of corona have come to light all over the world. So far a total of 11 thousand 85 thousand 733 people have died. So far three crores 29 lakh 85 thousand 561 people have recovered.
