New Delhi: Coronavirus has become uncontrollable in the country. We are getting a record of new cases every day. The one who has the highest responsibility to prevent corona and to cure the infected could not escape it. So far, a total of 200 doctors have died in the country from Corona. Seeing the death of such a large number of doctors, the Indian Medical Association has written to Prime Minister Modi, requesting for protection and convenience.
170 doctors over age 50 dead
In its letter to the Prime Minister, IMA said, “IMA represents 3.5 lakh doctors spread across the country who provide affordable healthcare in the neighborhood. It is pertinent to mention that COVID-19 does not differentiate between the government and the private sector and affects everyone. ” The IMA said, “According to the data released so far 196 doctors have died in the country due to Coronavirus, in which there were 170 doctors over 50 years of age.
Government medical and life insurance facilities should be given
Seeking the Prime Minister in the letter, he said, “requested to ensure adequate care for the doctors and their families engaged in fighting the coronavirus. This is a maximum risk group and doctors in all areas should be given government medical and life insurance facilities. ”
