New Delhi: There has been a stir in the country regarding the Corona Virus vaccine. Successive vaccine companies have started applying for Emergency Approval in the country. Recently there has been news that an expert panel will review the applications given for emergency use of these vaccines tomorrow. Three companies have applied for emergency approval in India. These include the names of Serum Institute of India, Pfizer, and Bharat Biotech.
According to sources, the expert panel can consider the applications of these companies in the vaccine case. Sources said that on Monday, Bharat Biotech of Hyderabad has also applied for its vaccine Kovaxin. The American company Pfizer was the first to apply in this order, after which the Serum Institute has also demanded emergency approval.
Sources reveal that the experts panel will talk to the drug regulator after considering the matters. The special thing is that a vaccine can be allowed to use emergency only when it is safe and effective. However, the last approval will be given only after successful trial and examination of all data. Britain became the first country to allow Pfizer for emergency use last week. It was being said that this vaccine is up to 95 percent effective.
Significantly, experts are worried about the problems coming in Pfizer’s transport. Pfizer needs to be kept at a temperature of -70 ° C at all times. However, the company has assured that it is ready for such challenges. Explain that after the emergency approval from DCGI, the vaccine can be applied only for a limited time and for certain categories of people.
