Bad weather will disturb North East
The expected impact and action due to heavy rains in South Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura from 29 March-01 April 2021 have been suggested by the administration. This includes local flooding of roads, waterlogging in low-lying areas, and closure of underpasses mainly in the urban areas of the aforementioned region. Visibility may sometimes decrease due to heavy rain/snowfall. Due to the increase in travel time, traffic disruptions are possible due to waterlogging on the roads. There are chances of minor damage to the rough roads and damage to the weakened structure. It would be better for rescue people to check the traffic congestion on their route before starting their journey. Follow any traffic advice issued in this regard. Avoid visiting areas that often face waterlogging problems.
