Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand): Heavy rain and snowfall are being seen once again in Kedarnath Dham. In view of this trend of weather and rain and fresh snowfall on Sunday, the police have requested the devotees visiting the temple to travel according to the weather forecast. The police have advised the devotees to carry umbrellas, warm clothes, raincoats, and essential medicines with them.
Superintendent of Police of Rudraprayag Dr. Vishakha Ashok Bhadane has released a video clip from Kedarnath. In this video, snowfall is being shown in the Himalayan Dham. In the video, Bhadane urged the pilgrims coming to Kedarnath to travel only on the basis of weather forecast information and take warm clothes, raincoats, umbrellas, and essential medicines along with them.
The weather will be bad on Monday as well
He said that the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for bad weather on Monday as well. The portals of Kedarnath and Badrinath temples were opened in the last week of last month and since then there has been frequent rain and snowfall in both the dams. Devotees are facing difficulties due to rain and snowfall.
