Ahmedabad: A fire broke out in the ICU of the designated Corona Hospital in Rajkot city of Gujarat late Thursday night, killing 5 patients. A fire department official said 30 other patients suffering from coronavirus who were being treated at the hospital have been rescued.

The fire has been contained, he said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The rescued patients have been admitted to other hospitals of Kovid-19, the official said.
