Lucknow: The risk of corona infection is also increasing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh including the whole country. Also, the speed of vaccination is also accelerating. But a new issue arose whether a corona vaccine could be applied during the fast during the holy month of Ramadan? The point of the question is, will the vaccine break Roza? With this, Markji Chand Committee Darul Uloom Farangi Mahal of Lucknow has issued a fatwa. This fatwa is now a matter of discussion.
In a fatwa issued by the Firangi Mahal, it has been said that the corona vaccine enters the human body and not inside the stomach. Therefore, applying the vaccine will not break Roza. Muslims should not delay in getting the Covid-19 vaccine only because of fasting.
The letter issued by Firangi Mahal stated that Abdur Rashid Kidwai, a resident of Bhopal, questioned Darul Iftaa when a severe epidemic like Corona infection is growing at its fastest pace and I have taken the first dose of vaccine for rescue. If the time given for the second vaccine is between Ramadan, can the second dose of the vaccine be taken during the fast.
In response, the Islamic Center of India issued a fatwa. It clearly states that there is no fear of breaking the fast by taking the second dose of the Corona vaccine. So to avoid this terrible epidemic, make sure to get the vaccine. Signatures of several Maulanas including the President of the Islamic Center of India, Maulana Khalid Rashid, are also present on this fatwa.
