Who, despite physical challenges and ridiculed by the society, became so big that he silenced everyone. Today she has been appointed as the new Collector of Ajmer in Rajasthan.

Her name is Aarti Dogra, whose height is only 3 feet 6 inches. Know the story of that 3-foot girl who became an IAS officer after being ridiculed by the society.

Currently, Aarti Dogra is an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. Aarti may be younger than her body but today she has emerged as an example in the administrative class of women IAS across the country. He has introduced several models for social change which Prime Minister Narendra Modi also liked.

Aarti was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Aarti is a 2006 batch IAS officer. Their height is only 3 feet 6 inches. For this reason, he faced physical discrimination since childhood. People used to say to Aarti’s parents that, such a girl is a burden, why don’t you kill her?

You must have seen people in society who are not able to do anything on their own, but they leave no stone unturned to laugh at others. Something similar happened with Aarti. People in society laughed at her, mocked her and not so much, some people told her parents that this girl is a burden, why are you taking care of her instead of killing her. But Aarti’s parents cared more about their child than all these things. He taught and enabled his daughter, who has become an IAS officer today.

Aarti has done a great job during her tenure. Currently, Aarti is a collector of Ajmer, Rajasthan. Prior to this, she has also been posted to the post of SDM Ajmer.

Aarti started a campaign called Banco Bikano. Along with this, she has also held the post of District Collector in Bikaner and Bundi districts of Rajasthan. Prior to this she also served as the Managing Director of DISCOM. As the District Collector of Bikaner, she started a campaign called Banks Bikano. Through this campaign, people were encouraged not to defecate in the open. For this, the people of the administration used to stop going to the village in the morning and stop defecation in the open. After which pucca toilet was made in the village. This campaign was successfully implemented up to 195-gram panchayats.

Aarti was the first woman IAS officer to be appointed to the post of Managing Director of Jodhpur DISCOM. In remote areas where there was no electricity. Every effort was made to supply electricity there.

Aarti’s father Colonel Rajendra Dogra is an officer in the army and her mother is the principal of Kumkum School. At the time of Aarti’s birth, the doctor had made it clear that her daughter would not be able to attend normal school. After which people living in the society also started saying that the baby girl is unusual. But his parents sent him to a normal school. It doesn’t matter what people say, so Aarti’s parents didn’t even think about the other child. He used to say that my only daughter is enough to fulfill our dreams.

Aarti was educated at Welham Girls School in Dehradun. He then graduated in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. After that, served the Indian Administrative Service at UPSC.

Aarti returned to Dehradun for post-graduation. Here she met Manisha, Dehradun DM IAS. Which changed his thinking completely. Aarti was so inspired by him that he also generated interest in IAS. For this Aarti worked hard and in her very first attempt, she surpassed everyone in the written examination and interview.

Aarti proved that, “Whatever the world says, whatever we think, we can change everyone’s thoughts on the strength of our ability.”
