In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19, BMC has deployed mobile testing vans in some areas of Dharavi. The authorities fear that the case will increase once again. Weekly growth rate of 0.12 percent has been observed in G North Ward of Dharavi, Dadar and Mahim. Recently Maharashtra government has made RT-PCR test mandatory for travelers coming from Kerala. In Kerala and Maharashtra, compared to the whole country, Corona’s halls looked uncontrollable. Due to this, the central government had also decided to send high-level teams to both the states.

The shortage of cases on Monday is due to shortage of staff and less testing on weekends. There were less than 4.9 lakh investigations on this Monday. For the first time in 6 months, the number of testing has reduced so much. 82 people died in the country on Monday. After this, the figure of deaths has reached 1 lakh 55 thousand 844.
