New Delhi: On one hand, the country is celebrating the 72nd Republic Day today. On the other hand, on this occasion, farmers protesting against the new agricultural laws are taking out the Republic Day Kisan Tractor Rally. Tractor rally is scheduled to be taken out from 3 borders of Delhi from 12 noon today, but before this, pictures of breaking the law and order are coming. Farmers started removing barricades on the Singhu border itself. The trucks, which were parked by the police, were removed by the farmers by pushing them from the tractors and the containers which were kept were also removed from the tractor. At the same time, some farmers have dropped barricades even before the time of rally on the ticking border. Delhi Police is trying to control the situation.
The police has approved farmers to take out a rally with only 5000 tractors. However, over 20 thousand tractors have reached the Singhu border alone. Farmers have claimed that about one lakh tractors will reach Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur.
The first batch of farmers has left much earlier than the time of removing the barricade from the Singhu border. It is believed that these people have gone out of the fixed route and prepared to enter Delhi. Volunteers of the farmers who were given the responsibility of looking after the entire security system, too, left the Singhu border long after the first batch came out.
No drugs, no inflammatory slogans
Farmers have been given instructions for the parade – tractors and other cars will run in the parade, but the trolley will not go. Trolleys with special tableaux may be exempted. Pack 24-hour ration water with you and go. On every tractor or vehicle, along with the flag of the farmers organization, the national flag should also be installed. No party will bear the flag. Do not carry any weapon with you, do not keep sticks or jelly. Do not place banners with any provocative or negative slogans.
Many routes closed in Delhi-NCR
Today, many routes have been closed in view of Republic Day and farmers’ tractor rally, many routes have been diverted. There are big containers placed on the roads, which means that even a human being will not be able to pass through those roads. Large pieces of cement have been laid by the crane. That is, it is forbidden to go from here at all costs. Only the routes that have been set for the tractor march have been opened, but the roads have been completely closed.
