New Delhi: While increasing cases of corona infection in the country are raising concern, the work is also going on successfully for the manufacture of vaccines in the country. Meanwhile, Neem’s experiments are being worked on to fight the Corona epidemic. The team of scientists is trying to find out if the properties of neem can also be used to eradicate the virus.
All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has entered into an agreement with the naturopathy company for this. According to the All India Institute of Ayurveda, a human trial is being conducted at ESIC Hospital in Faridabad, Haryana and it is being ascertained how effective Neem is in fighting the corona. Dr. Tanuja Nesari, Director of All India Institute of Ayurveda, has been appointed as the principal tester of this research. At the same time, a team of 6 doctors are attached to this test under the supervision of Dr. Asim Sen, Dean of ESIC Hospital. The team will test 250 people to find out how successful the neem properties are in preventing corona infection.
The first human trial is going on since August 7
Preparations for the first human trial have started from August 7 and two other methods are being tried for the trial. Of the 250 people involved in the research, 125 are being given capsules of nature, while the remaining 125 will be given empty capsules. All patients will be kept under observation for 28 days.
At the same time, Dr. Mohini, who played an important role in the trial, said that neem is a well-known antiviral plant, which is used in Ayurveda for various diseases like fever, herpes virus. It is also used to purify the blood due to its properties. Neem has many beneficial ingredients, so we hope that it can prove to be an important weapon in the war with Corona.

Funding continues
Girish Soman, founder and CEO of Nisarg Biotech, said this Ayurvedic prescription may lead to many large clinical trials, but Nisarg is the first manufacturer to conduct this test with its own fund in collaboration with India’s top Ayurveda institute. According to Soman, the All India Institute of Ayurveda is known for doing research on Ayurveda in a modern way. Significantly, neem is an effective antiviral. We are seeking funding to introduce it as standard medicine.
