Patna: State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a big relief to the corona patients. The CM has announced that all the corona patients will be treated free of cost at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna. The State Government will bear all the expenses incurred on medicines and treatment of patients.

Along with this, the Chief Minister has also instructed to correct the available ventilators in hospitals in all the districts of the state and keep them functional. This work will be done with the joint participation of the private sector and government efforts.

It is important to note that the speed of corona infection in Bihar is not being named. In the last 24 hours, 12,672 new corona infections have been identified in the state. Earlier on Thursday, 11,489 new corona infections were identified. More than five hundred new corona infected has been found in six districts including Patna.

Patna has the highest number of 2801 new corona infects identified. While 816 new ones have been infected in Gaya, 748 in Aurangabad, 243 in Siwan, 704 in Muzaffarpur, 617 in Saran, and 607 in Begusarai. Corona investigation of 1 lakh 8 thousand 147 samples has been done in the last 24 hours in the state.

At the same time, 59 patients died in the state a day earlier. On increasing resources and supply of medicines, Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Aggarwal directed the officials and assured them that there will be no shortage of medicines related to Covid-19. Basic medicines of Kovid are sufficient. In this regard, Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal has also directed the District Magistrate of Patna, Drug Inspector, to meet with all the leading drug shopkeepers, company distributors, and drug associations and has given instructions for continuous supply and stock.
