Britain begins new antibody treatment trial for Covid-19

London: Britain on Monday began a human trial of a new antibiotic treatment for hospitalized Covid-19 patients. Under this government-backed test, about two thousand patients will be given antibodies manufactured in the laboratory and it will be seen how effective this treatment is.

Chief Scientific Officer George D. Yankupalas said, “The world urgently needs new drugs to fight Kovid-19 and appropriate tests to evaluate new treatment options will help understand which option is most effective.”
