One report claimed that Bill Gates had an illicit affair with some female employees even after they got married. At the moment, the news is that he was in a relationship with a female employee.
The report stated that in the year 2000, Bill Gates was in a relationship with an engineer employee working in his company. This was revealed when the said woman wrote the details of this affair by writing a letter to the company’s board in the year 2019.
Reportedly, Microsoft directors had found Gates’ relationship with the female employee inappropriate and decided to remove him from the board. By the way, the company has not given more information about the investigation. However, Bill Gates resigned shortly before the investigation was completed.
No relation to resignation
A Gates spokesman said his decision to leave the board had nothing to do with the relationship with the female employee. He said that there was an affair about 20 years ago, which ended with the consent of both. His decision to withdraw from the board was in no way connected to the case.
It is known that Bill Gates and Melinda took a declaration of divorce earlier this month after 27 years of marriage. The two also said that they would continue to work together for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
