According to the new rule, only relatives of Covid patients will have to complete the entire process till handing over the body to the administration in case of death of the patient at home.
The Municipal Corporation has made it clear that in the event of death of the patient from the Covid, only the family members will have to take care of the body. For this, body bags and four PPE kits will be given to relatives on behalf of ward officers. The relatives will have to wear the kit and put the body in a body bag and then put it in a carriage. He said that three numbers have also been issued for calling the van. 02024503211, 02024503212, and 9689939628 to take the dead bodies to Corona on death. Van can be called by calling these numbers.
Along with this, some paperwork will also have to be done. For this, householders will have to fill 4A certificate and Form 2. The families will now also have to provide the Aadhaar card of the deceased family along with their Aadhaar card. They will be able to share all this on the link 115.124.100.249:8093 of PMC. They will get a 4A certificate from a medical officer or a family doctor.
