United Nations: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the first detected B1.617 type of coronavirus in India has now been found in 53 countries. The WHO found that in the last seven days, there has been a 23 percent decline in new cases in India, but it is still the highest in the world. The World Health Organization (WHO) Covid-19 weekly epidemiological update states that new cases of infections and deaths have continued to decline worldwide over the past week.
In a week, 41 lakh new cases and 84,000 death cases were registered, which is 14 percent and two percent less than the previous week respectively. According to the update, the B1.617 variant that first appeared in India is now active in 53 countries around the world. B.1.617 virus (B.1.617 Covid Variant) is divided into three genealogies – B.1.617.1, B.1.617.2, and B.1.617.3. The update saw the trend of three subfamilies of B.1.617 in different countries and regions as of May 25. Accordingly, B1.617.1 was found in 41 countries, B1.617.2 in 54 countries, and B1.617.3 in six countries. In addition, WHO has received information from unauthorized sources for B1.617.1, B1.617.2 subfamilies in 11 countries, including China, and will be reviewed as more information becomes available.
The WHO has declared B.1.617 a “type of concern” and the update states that this type of “prevalence is high” and that the severity of the disease resulting from it, the severity of the infection is “under investigation” and the resolving activity. (B.1.617.1) may possibly have a slight drop. It was told that in the last seven days, the newest cases of Covid were reported from India (18,46,055 new cases, 23 percent fall). This is followed by Brazil (4,51,424 new cases, three percent decline), Argentina (2,13,046 new cases, 41 percent increase), the US (1,88,410 new cases, 20 percent decline) and Colombia (1,07,590 new cases, seven Percent decline).
