New Delhi: The Economic Crimes Branch of Delhi Police has registered an FIR against Nayati Healthcare’s Niira Radia and four others in a loan fraud case. Dr. Sharma alleges that after this acquisition, Narayani Investment and these four accused took a loan of Rs 300 crore from Yes Bank for the development of Gurugram Hospital. Instead of spending the loan money on the development of the hospital, it was embezzled on the basis of fake documents. He has also alleged that everyone took another loan of Rs 60 crore from Yes Bank for another hospital project and also embezzled it. Not only that, the accused wrongly reduced their stake in Nayati Healthcare NCR from 49 to 6.3 per cent in less than a year.
‘Nayati Healthcare is ready for full cooperation in police investigation’
A spokesperson for Nayati Healthcare said that Dr. Sharma’s complaint is baseless. He was on the board of directors of the company and was involved in all the decisions. The spokesperson also said that after a forensic audit of the previous managerial work led by Sharma, the embezzlement was brought before him and the police were informed as a complaint. The spokesperson said that Nayati Healthcare is ready to cooperate in the NCR police investigation. Explain that Radia used to run a public relations company.
