New Delhi: The number of patients crossed 38 lakh on Wednesday. In one day, India has the highest number of corona cases in the world. Within 24 hours Corona’s record 83 thousand 883 new patients were found. Earlier, on August 29, the maximum 78 thousand 479 patients were found. On Wednesday, 1043 patients died. So far, 38 lakh 53 thousand 407 people have been infected.
According to the latest update of the Health Ministry, there are 8 lakh 15 thousand 538 active cases of corona in the country right now. So far, 67 thousand 376 patients have died from Corona. So far, 29 lakh 70 thousand 493 people have recovered from this virus infection.
The cases of corona infection in the US-Brazil are increasing much less daily than in India, but these two countries have suffered the most deaths of corona patients in the world. More than 10 million people have been infected in the US-Brazil and three lakh 13 thousand people have died. Corona active cases up 1.11% in 7 days
Active cases have started increasing rapidly with the world’s highest corona patients being found in the country since a week. The condition of the major states affected by Corona:
In Maharashtra, a record 17 thousand 433 new cases of infection were reported on Wednesday. So far, more than 8 lakh 25 thousand people have been found infected in the state. In 24 hours, 292 patients died. With this, the death toll has increased to 25 thousand 195.
In the capital Delhi on Wednesday, in the last nearly two months of the corona virus, the highest number of 2,509 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in one day. With these new cases, the total number of infected have increased to 1,79,569. The total number of dead has reached 4,481.
1969 new cases of infection were revealed in Bihar on Wednesday. So far, 1 lakh 40 thousand 234 people have been caught in the infection. In the last 24 hours, 13 corona infectives died. The death toll has now risen to 722. There are 16 thousand 107 patients in the state who are undergoing treatment. It is a matter of relief that the rate of recovery of the infected has been 88%.
In Uttar Pradesh, 5,716 new cases increased on Wednesday. After this, the total number of active cases increased to 56 thousand 459. So far 2,41,439 corona have been infected. 75 infected people died in 24 hours. It is a matter of relief that 4,687 patients also recovered. So far, 1 lakh 81 thousand 364 patients have been cured in the state.
How much testing done so far?
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 11,70,000 tests of corona virus have been done in the country in the last 24 hours, of which 11 lakh samples were tested yesterday. The positivity rate is less than 7 percent.
Drop in mortality
It is a matter of relief that a steady decline in mortality and active case rate is being recorded. The death rate fell to 1.75%.
