Talking to news agency ANI, surgeon Dr. Kishore Srinivas at Nashik District Hospital said, ’30 people have been infected with the delta variant in Nashik. 28 patients are from rural areas. After the detection of the delta variant, we have sent the samples to Pune for genome sequencing. Along with this, people have been asked to follow the Covid rules.
According to some reports, till August 4, a total of 83 cases of Delta Plus variants have been found in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 33 patients battling this deadly form of the corona. After this, 11 cases have been confirmed in Madhya Pradesh and 10 in Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, the World Health Organization has issued warnings about the Delta variant several times.
Vaccine against Delta Plus

In response to this, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Bharti Praveen Pawar had said that about Rs 490 crore has been allocated from academia and industry to support the development of Covid-19 vaccine.
Schools are going to open in Maharashtra
The name of Maharashtra has also been included in the states that have announced the opening of schools. On Friday, Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad told that from August 17, schools are going to open in rural and urban areas. He said, ‘With the Covid-19 rules from August 17, we will open schools for classes 5 to 8 in rural areas. Classes from 8th to 12th will open in cities.
