Thane: The number of patients of COVID-19 has increased to 3,85,068 after 4,971 new cases of coronavirus infection in Thane district of Maharashtra Corona Updates. An official gave this information on Tuesday. He said that apart from these new cases that came to light on Monday, 26 more people died due to infection, after which the number of people who died due to this disease in the district has risen to 6,733.
The official said that the death rate from Covid-19 in the district is 1.75 percent. So far, 3,20,820 patients in the district have recovered from the infection, after which the recovery rate in the district is 83.32 percent. The official said that 57,515 people are still undergoing treatment for infection in Thane.
Another official said that in the neighboring Palghar district, there are 59,696 cases of Covid-19 while the death toll is 1,261.
