Under this, 350 policemen who have been part of the program of giving a guard of honor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 August have been quarantined. Such a step has been taken as a precaution.
A new police colony has just been formed in Delhi Cantt. She is still empty in large numbers. Many families have not shifted there yet. In such a situation, these 350 policemen have been kept in the flats lying vacant. These 350 policemen include police officers ranging from constable rank to DCP rank. All these policemen have been kept away from the outside world. Their body temperature is recorded daily. Also, they are tested for all the symptoms of Coronavirus infection.
In this regard, a senior police officer says that these steps are being taken keeping in mind the safety of all the people on August 15. We are taking all precautions. It has been more than 8 days since everyone quarantined. All are following social distancing within the complex. None of the symptoms showed coronavirus.
