Mumbai: According to the big news coming from Mumbai, during the Dahi Handi celebrations on Krishna Janmashtami here on Friday, more than 150 Govinda have been injured in several accidents at different places. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials on the matter said that most of the injured have been discharged after treatment, although 23 have been admitted to the hospital and their condition is said to be stable.
On the other hand, the Shinde government of Maharashtra has issued necessary instructions to the government hospitals to provide free treatment to the injured members of Govinda Mandali. According to reports, 33 of the injured have been treated at KEM Hospital, 12 at GT Hospital, 10 at Rajawadi Hospital, and 11 at Nair Hospital.
