Washington: US President Joe Biden mistakenly praised China while giving a speech in the Canadian Parliament on Friday. During his address, Biden was speaking about Canada’s immigration policies, when he mistakenly praised China instead of Canada. However, immediately after this he corrected his mistake and said, ‘I started thinking about China.’

In this video tweeted by RNC Research, Biden says, ‘Today, I appreciate China.’ Then corrects his mistakes to say that I appreciate Canada… You can tell what I mean About China.’ Members of the Canadian Parliament also laughed at this mistake of the US President. However, Biden also continued his speech with a smile.
According to the New York Post, he merged the two countries in his speech. Biden praised Canada for accepting 15,000 more immigrants per year from Latin American countries. The clip was also shared on social media by Donald Trump’s son and executive vice president of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump, who said ‘what an embarrassment this is to the United States of America.’ According to the outlet, the US President also gave a press conference later I made a similar mistake. Notably, Biden was on a two-day visit to Ottawa for talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This was his visit to the country since taking charge in January 2021.
